keep it steady.

Sometimes, 'inheriting the blessing' means simple, steadfast, pressing in through the small things of daily life.
Blessed is the one who does not take offense.. who endures.. who waits for Him.. who receives the promise.

...Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
[Hebrews 6:12,15]

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
[Hebrews 10:36]

i want to patiently endure.. to stand on the promises.. and to inherit the blessing.

"Oh restless heart, that beat against your prison bars of circumstances,
yearning for a wider sphere of usefulness,
leave God to order all your days.
Patience and trust, in the dullness of the routine of life,
will be the best preparation for a courageous bearing of the tug and strain
of the larger opportunity which God may sometime send you."
